Knot of Eternity
Let Your Heart Show

Sheet music (64K pdf)

Can you strip down?
Can you be really open?
Can you strip down,
Hiding nothing at all?
Can you strip down?
Let down all your defenses?
Let it all go!
Show the world who you are.

Let your heart show;
To your wife or your husband.
Let your friends know;
And the people you meet.

Take a deep breath;
Step out into the sunlight.
You’re in free fall,
But you won’t hit the ground.
Let your fears go;
You can be strong and gentle.
Let the tears flow;
With a smile on your face.

Let your heart show;
To your sisters and brothers,
To the landlord,
And the man on the street.

(instrumental solo)

Let your heart show;
It’s so hard to uncover:
To your lovers.
And your enemies, too.

Can you strip down?
Can you be really open now?

Inspired by a passage from Shambhala: The Sacred Path of the Warrior by Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche.
